ok so i ran my internship with @0xMQQ a little long but tbf I did get a little lost in the nostalgia of the trenches.
been thinking a lot about the avant movement on SOL and the particular species of irony and referentiality that seems to be in vogue rn👇🧵
@cigawrettepacks were avant before it was avant. twee, a little dark, and signifier-laden- an open invitation to be coolly ironic on the internet and maybe write a little poetry in a more innocent time (2023). scooped 4 nice ones off the floor
had to see what the @vvvdotso fuss was about ofc, found a few projects that were fun:

hypercollage but make it one-shot yourself with xxxfpswrld by @conkernasa
and i guess just crank the hashlips up to the point where you've smashed the portrait out of the PFP and you have @digichems
after that little sojurn to the hinterlands I had to come back home to tezos, where I scooped @0xMQQ a fine set of tZ GIFs: started with @FEELSxart 100% pure vibes
added some @annaxmalina analog collage:

and finally some classic @Xer0x_NFT pastiche (or is it?)
also scooped an ed of @adhd143's stellar / unsettling drop for @ArtForHumanityx. I could go on and on about how relevant Colin's collage work has consistently been.
I went back to ETH for another conceptual PFP cleanse- scooped a small pile of @sterlingcrispin's Wiiides off the floor. Onchain work that charts transactions by stretching punks until they are just 8-bit abstraction, a 4th order frame of fading reference.
aaaaand wrapped my shopping spree up with an absolute coup de grace by the multichain avantest artist (and my nominee for next @0xMQQ intern) @sabatobox.

almost forgot!
i was blessed and was able to mint a couple RIFTS by @hashrunner_ - brilliant work using EVM bytecode as a medium. glad I could place one in the MQQ vault.
